UK-based Luxfer Gas Cylinders (Luxfer) has been recognised for its efforts in advancing alternative fuel projects including its green transport solutions based on hydrogen and zero-emission refuse trucks.
Announced on 13th October, the hydrogen storage expert was granted an International Trade award from the East Midland Business Masters following a strong 12 months at the ‘forefront’ of green transport solutions.
Over the past year Luxfer has been involved in development of the world’s lightest, most fuel efficient and quickest-to-refuel hydrogen bus in the world.
Produced by Slovakian innovators Mobility & Innovation, the eight-metre, 68-passenger H2Bus features a complete alternative fuel system designed and supplied by Luxfer.
