Gas recovery solutions specialist Arencibia will work alongside South Korean air gas manufacturer and supplier SK Materials (SK) to expand the scope of bulk gas recycling throughout Asia.
Announced today (21st Dec), the companies will take part in a joint venture (JV) to focus exclusively on the design, engineering, construction and operation of bulk gas recovery systems – the first of its kind in Asia.
The project aims to prioritise the recovery of expensive process gases such as helium, neon and other rare gases that are used in mission critical manufacturing operations such as those essential to the semiconductor industry.
According to Arencibia, the deal will see SK overseeing operations and commercial functions, such as sales and marketing, whereas Arencibia will handle recovery process and design.
