Currently building a new research laboratory in one of Budapest’s most modern industrial parks, pharmaceuticals manufacturer Servier has contracted Messer to fully equip its laboratory in Hungary with an array of industrial and medical gases.
Scheduled for completion in 2008, the lab will be supplied with ultrapure gases and gas mixtures by Messer’s Hungarian branch and Servier is the second largest pharmaceuticals company worldwide, investing around 25% of its annual turnover in research and development.
“Transparency, continuous exchange of information, developing the optimal technology solutions together with the customer – this conception has helped Messer in Hungary to win Servier, one of the most significant pharmaceuticals company of the world as its partner,” says Johann Ringhofer, Regional Manager for Southeastern Europe.
Meanwhile in neighbouring Serbia, Messer reports that it has put several liquid-nitrogen injectors into operation in the country’s soft drinks industry.
