Exemplary work safety has been rewarded for the Messer Group with the presentation of no less than 22 awards.
The awards were presented by the European Industrial Gas Association, in recognition of the Messer Group’s extremely low accident rate.
With only 1.7 accidents per one million work-hours, the Messer Group
has one of the lowest incidences of accidents among the industrial gas enterprises, coming in far below the EIGA average of 3.5.
CEO and owner Stefan Messer, who received the safety awards from
EIGA president, Aldo Belloni, at this year’s meeting in Cannes, France, sees
this as justification for his efforts in the areas of work safety and accident prevention.
