Industrial gas giant Messer has installed a new nitrogen production unit for Energoaqua in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, Czech Republic, reducing the need to deliver the gas by truck and lowering unnecessary carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
Energy and service provider Energoaqua has been operating an on-site nitrogen production unit installed by Messer for the past ten years, allowing it to independently produce nitrogen in addition to eliminating harmful emissions.
Calling it a ‘good example’ of international cooperation and resource utilisation, Ernst Bode, Member of the Management Board, Messer, said, “Our engineering department in Germany designed the unit and sourced the components.”
