Messer is expanding its position in Slovakia with a €10m investment in the construction of a new argon plant in the country.
Located in Šaľa, it will be Slovakia’s largest argon production plant, according to Messer.
The plant will be capable of producing 7,500 tonnes of argon per year.
The new investment in argon production focuses on waste gas processing technology from the secondary production facility for ammonia.
