Messer today said it will construct a new €35m air separation plant in Vila-seca, Spain as the world’s largest family run industrial gases company continues its growth in Western Europe.
Located in the south of the Tarragona Chemical Complex, the new production plant will have a capacity of 2,400 tonnes of oxygen, nitrogen and argon per day.
Expected to be commissioned in December 2021, the plant will also be certified for the production of medical gases.
