News has emerged from China of a milestone for the development of Air Products in the country, having now received the Shanghai Regional Headquarters Certificate from the Shanghai Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commission.
The certificate recognises Air Products’ Shanghai office as the company’s regional headquarters in China and sees the company become the 200th multinational corporation (MNC) to be granted the certificate, out of only a total of 206 MNC’s to date.
“The certificate is a major milestone in our establishment and development in China over the past 21 years,” said Paul Thomas, Vice President of Engineering Asia for Air Products, at the certificate presentation ceremony.
“Air Products has been serving the China market since 1987. We are honoured to be growing with Shanghai and China hand-in-hand, and this certification clearly underscores Air Products’ development as well as commitment in China.”
