Monthly surcharges will continue says Chart Industries

Chart Industries, Inc. Distribution and Storage Group has announced that its surcharge schedules will continue to be adjusted on a monthly basis.

Products that are affected include atmospheric and CO2 bulk cryogenic storage tanks, cryogenic liquid cylinders, MicroBulk products, beverage carbonation equipment and liquid helium dewars.

$quot;Raw nickel costs have continued to increase along with other components that drive surcharges applicable to our stainless and alloy steel purchases,$quot; stated Tom Carey, President of Chart Distribution and Storage ($quot;Chart D&S$quot;). $quot;With the time-phased effect of this on our finished goods, Chart D&S’s surcharge schedules are continuing to escalate.$quot;

The next surcharge increase is effective for orders received on or after April 1, 2007.
