MOX-Linde Gases was recently recognised for its achievements in practicing exemplary health and safety practices, receiving three Gold Awards in the recent Malaysian Society of Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH) Safety Awards 2007.
The three Gold Awards were awarded to MOX-Linde’s operations in Pasir Gudang, Johor and the Hicom, Shah Alam and Petaling Jaya sites, both of which also won Gold awards in the 2006, reflecting the company’s commitment to excellence in safety, health and environmental standards.
Safety performance at the three MOX-Linde sites has been recognised, with no Lost Time Injury (LTI) or worksite fatality recorded for the assessment period of two years.
SY Wong, Linde’s Country Head for Malaysia, commented, “These awards strongly reflect the inherent culture at MOX-Linde, where safety is not only one of our key guiding principles, but also 100% of our behaviour, 100% of our time.”
