Malaysian Oxygen Berhad (MOX) has recently released its fourth quarter results for 2006.
The company’s revenue for quarter four of 2006 was RM162.6m ($45.96m), 1.5 per cent higher than that of the proceeding quarter. The group’s net profit after tax of RM37.2m ($10.5m) was 54.4 per cent higher than the proceeding quarter.
In the quarter the groups profit after tax increased by 42.88 per cent to RM37.2m ($10.5m) compared to the preceding year’s quarter profit before tax of RM26.2m ($7.4m) Contributing to the increase was a significant volume growth in the electronics sector.
Prospects for the coming financial year, according to the company, are independent on the state of the overall global and Malaysian economies.
