MSA Safety has been named as a preferred supplier of portable gas detection equipment for Royal Dutch Shell.
The recognition is part of a newly inked three-year global framework agreement which will see MSA Safety supply portable gas detection equipment and other safety technology to Shell’s offshore and onshore facilities.
As part of the agreement, MSA Safety’s portable gas detectors, which offer web-based gas detection capabilities such as live monitoring and fleet management, will be deployed at Shell’s sites.
Welcoming the news, Bob Leenen, President of MSA’s International Business Segment, said, “Having worked with Shell for more than three decades, we are very pleased to be names a preferred supplier and continue a partnership focused on providing Shell employees with access to the most advanced safety equipment available today.”
