Praxair has announced it has started up multiple plants serving the oxygen needs of Nadir Figueiredo S/A, one of Brazil‘s leading housewares manufacturers.
Praxair’s oxygen is a major driver of Nadir Figueiredo S/A’s production process and is being used to help the company manufacture its popular housewares, as well as specialized food and drink packaging.
Praxair’s plants, which are located in Sao Paulo state, produce a combined capacity in excess of 100 tons per day of gaseous oxygen. The use of Praxair’s oxygen in glass furnaces results in enhanced combustion, improved efficiency in the manufacturing process, as well as reduced nitrogen oxide emissions enabling customers to increase productivity and improve their environmental performance.
“Nadir Figueiredo S/A has been a valued Praxair customer for nearly 20 years and we are proud to extend our relationship with this leading Brazilian industrial company,” said Domingos Bulus, President of Praxair South America. “Our world-class Praxair plants provide Nadir Figueiredo S/A an efficient and reliable supply of oxygen that will help increase their productivity and improve the environmental performance of their manufacturing process.”
