Nel Hydrogen Solutions, a business division of Nel ASA, will help advance the hydrogen (H2) infrastructure in Latvia after being awarded a contract by SIA Hydrogenis.
Under the terms of deal, of which financial details were not disclosed, Nel Hydrogen Solutions will deliver a new dual capability H2Station®, offering a combined H2 fuelling solution for cars and buses in Latvia’s capital city, Riga.
Nel will deliver storage facilities and dispensers under the €1.5m ($1.7m), with the station planned for delivery towards the second half of 2017.
The H2Station bus fuelling capability is offered as an odd-on feature to fuelling solutions for cars or as a separate solution dedicated for bus fleets. The machine enables simultaneous dual-pressure refuelling at 700 bar for cars and 350 bar for buses.
