Nel Hydrogen US has been defined as an “essential manufacturing business” by the state of Connecticut, the Nel ASA subsidiary said today.
Following a state executive order in Connecticut issued earlier this week, Nel Hydrogen temporarily suspended manufacturing at its Wallingford plant.
But the company has been defined as an essential manufacturing business and has been permitted to continue operations. Nel has therefore resumed operations at its Wallingford plant.
The company said it still expects revenues and operations to be negatively impacted by disruptions in the value chain and extraordinary health measures taken in the various locations due to coronavirus.
