Network of LNG stations in the Netherlands growing steadily

The network of liquefied natural gas (LNG) filling stations in the Netherlands is continuing to grow with construction beginning on PitPoint’s Roosendaal location yesterday.

In July 2017, DCB Energy and PitPoint.LNG signed a contract for the realisation of three new LNG filling stations. Two of these became operational at the beginning of the year and the third location, now in construction, will open this spring.

Jan Willem Drijver, PitPoint.LNG’s Managing Director, said “The new LNG trucks can do around 1500km on a full tank. With the current network of LNG filling stations at strategic locations, we pretty much have country-wide coverage.”
