Global technology and industrial software company Emerson has appointed James Turley as Chair of its Board of Directors, succeeding former chair and CEO David Farr, who retired after 20 years as CEO in February.
Turley, who has served as a member of Emerson’s Board since 2013, is an Independent Director, and also serves on the Boards of Directors for Citigroup, Northrop Grumman and Precigen.
As a member of Emerson’s Board, Turley currently serves on the Audit, Executive, and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committees. His term as Board Chair commenced on 5th May.

Jim brings a wealth of public company service, executive leadership and financial experience to this role, as well as deep expertise about Emerson and the industries we serve.”
