BOC gases are holding a ˜ground breaking ceremony for its newest air separation plant in Beloit, Wisconsin on 10 October.
Demand for liquid oxygen and nitrogen in the Midwest has increased steadily over the past few years and has been driven mostly by food processing, combustion and petrochemical applications.
To meet this demand the plant will separate air cryogenically to produce over 700 tons a day of liquid oxygen and nitrogen. The gases will be trucked to hospitals, Food processors, metals and chemicals manufacturers and independent gases distributors in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa.
The plant is due for completion end 2007.
