Indura Medical successfully set out to introduce new technologies to the anaesthesia market at the third Bi-annual Course of Post Degree, Anaesthesia 2007.
The medical equipment, gases and supplies company showcased a variety of products designed especially for the world of anaesthesia, including a portable product capable of monitoring the gases used to anaesthetise the patient and subsequently control or reduce the risks associated. This practical and efficient piece of kit provides not only a portable software solution but is also compatible with iPAQ or Notebook computer systems.
The company’s course on using their range and products was titled, $quot;Looking to the Future$quot; and ran at the Hotel Sheraton San Christopher on the 25th and 26th May 2007. Making the most of the opportunity to promote their product line and experience, Indura Medical participated in developing workshops coordinated by doctors Juan Pablo Alvarez and Francisco Alvarez, both anaesthetists of the Clinical Hospital of the University of Chile.
In the workshops, teams prepared to present failures – the problems that should be easily recognised by an anaesthetist and the correct procedures to amend these. The day was qualified as a valuable experience since it demonstrated the importance of refreshing the teams worked with and, at the same time, the teams and the products upon which lives depend.
