Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd (BP) has announced it will soon begin to export additives to make a new metal-cutting gas more powerful than traditional acetylene gas, looking beyond the Indian shores as part of its ‘Beyond LPG’ strategy.
The company has drafted plans to ship the additives to 15 countries and overseas partners will mix the additives with LPG to make the unique gas, used by the fabrication industry for cutting and welding materials.
Countries included for export range from the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Jordan, to Malaysia, Thailand, Kenya, Nigeria and Bangladesh.
