New global standard for CO2 product analysis set using Unisensor technology

A new global standard has been set for carbon dioxide product analysis by Linde – using Unisensor technology called Carboscan, developed in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Carboscan was selected as one of only two technology platforms for this new global standard following rigorous testing and design modifications to satisfy the stringent requirements of Linde. This includes a completely new module providing additional quality control features.

In recognition of this, Linde awarded Unisensor the prestigious Tier One critical vendor status, which means Carboscan has been approved for use in CO2 product analytical applications worldwide, without the need for additional testing by their local businesses.

This significant investment will bring many benefits to Linde operations around the world like Carboscan’s ability to rapidly detect up to 46 impurities in carbon dioxide at the lowest detectable limits, monitor product quality on-line at multiple points during storage and loading as well as test and certify batch tanks and truck trailers, using a fully automated simple and fast operator interface.
