New hydrogen generation plant for Indonesia

Caloric claims to have further boosted its market position and demonstrated its strength with the recent sale of a new hydrogen generation plant in Indonesia, its fourth plant sold to Asia in 2011.

No delivery date has yet been indicated to gasworld, with the plant set to be completely pre-assembled and tested at Caloric’s workshop.

Caloric notes that its supervision, on-site, of erection, commissioning and start-up will ensure that the ‘outstanding quality standard’ of the company will be fulfilled.

Design capacity of the plant is 1000 Nm3/h hydrogen. The steam reforming process will be initially started with natural gas as feedstock but is also prepared to run with liquefied petroleum gas later. CO-Shift reaction and pressure swing adsorption complete the process and ensure highest purity of 99,9999 % hydrogen.
