Praxair has appointed Marybeth Marx as general manager of its Cryomag Services business.
Ms Marx’s primary role will be to focus on expanding business relationships and developing and delivering value propositions to original equipment manufacturers, asset managers, hospitals and independent service organizations in the magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear magnetic resonance marketplaces.
She joined Praxair in 2004 as director of marketing and new business development for the North American Industrial Gases business and prior to that held a series of key management positions at Fortune 500 companies including ITT Industries, Eastman Kodak Company and Mobil Chemical Company.
Ms Marx has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia. She also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Rochester.
