A new range of portable gas analysers designed for the biogas and waste management industries has been released by environmental device manufacturer QED Environmental Systems (QED).
Replacing the QED 5000 range, the GEOTECH i-Q series will focus on modularity, in addition to featuring user-replaceable gas cells, pressure sensors and filters that reduce the need for back-to-base servicing and calibration, according to QED.
A planned maintenance programme will allow customers to receive pre-calibrated modules along with accompanying calibration certificates.
Equipped with a user-replaceable battery with an extended battery life of up to 10 hours, and a 5-inch optional touchscreen display, the analysers also feature Wi-Fi connectivity and a dedicated system pressure port for enhanced reading and process time.
