Afrox has launched an extensive new range of hardfacing consumables – spearheaded by MacKay electrodes and wires – enabling the company to match customer demand for more efficient metal equipment wear prevention processes.
The development, according to product manager Herman Potgieter, has resulted in the introduction of an extensive hardfacing range, which supports all the accepted application technologies.
Prior to the introduction of this new, extended range from Afrox, the choice of hardfacing consumables was limited, which restricted the processes that fabricators could use.
Now the new range can be used with MMA, MIG, flux-cored, TIG, submerged arc and flame spraying powder processes, dramatically increasing the choice of processes available to the fabricator and manufacturer.
