nexAir, a Memphis-based distributor of atmospheric gases and welding supplies, has acquired the Linde LifeGas and packaged gas products businesses from Linde North America.
Operating the LifeGas business under the brand ‘nexAir Healthcare’, nexAir will incorporate the packaged gas products operations with its other nexAir-branded businesses.
The acquisition includes 16 LifeGas branch locations in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee, a Linde packaged gas production facility in Georgia, and approximately 200 Linde employees who will now be employed by nexAir.
