NextDecade Corporation has appointed Ivan Van der Walt as its new Chief Operating Officer to support the company’s LNG and carbon capture projects.
The US-based company on Monday (21st June) said the Board of Directors made the appointment and it will be effective 1st July.
Van der Walt joined NextDecade in July 2018 serving as Senior Vice-President, Engineering and Construction and holds nearly 30 years of experience in the global energy industry.
As Chief Operating Officer, he will continue to be responsible for all project management, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations of the company’s LNG and carbon capture projects.
