European branch of Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation, Nippon Gases has been placed in the top 5% industrial gas companies for its sustainability rating after being awarded a gold medal by sustainability rating agency EvoVadis.
The ranking evaluates four key areas: environmental, ethics, human and labour rights and sustainable procurement.
Iñaki Uriarte, Director Sustainability and HSEQ Europe, Nippon Gases, commented on the award, saying, “A gold medal in such a well-known and prestigious ranking is an external recognition to our efforts.”
He added that the award is proof that the company is committed to the environment.
