A newly formed alliance between Nippon Gases and Italy-based engineering company Hysytech aims to promote the development and use of alternative biofuels and green chemistry to realise the company’s shared vision of a ‘real circular economy’.
As a specialist in chemical processing, cryogenics, gas recovery and purification for biofuel production and waste-to-energy, Hysytech will become the ‘enabling supplier’ of technologies for Nippon Gases’ Carbon Neutrality projects.
Part of the Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (NSHD), Nippon Gases started up its new ‘Carbon Neutral World’ campaign earlier this year – an initiative that outlines the group’s dedication to reducing the industry’s carbon footprint.
Last month, the initiative took a major step forward following the launch of its new dedicated website. Featuring a range of illustrations and videos, the website provides a framework for typically ‘hard-to-abate’ industries to decarbonise and future-proof their operations.
