The British Columbia (BC) Safety Authority, an independent body that oversees the safety of a number of industrial sectors including gas appliances and hydrogen systems, has opened nominations for the third annual Lieutenant Governor’s Awards for Public Safety 2007.
Administered by the BC Safety Authority, the awards encourage outstanding candidates or companies to come forward and recognise an individual or organisation for their exceptional leadership, innovation or achievement in the promotion of safety in British Columbia.

This years ceremony will see the introduction of a Lifetime Achievement Award and award recipients will be honoured at a luncheon to be held at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre on 21st November.
