Jerry Van Auken has been promoted to President of Norris Cylinder from the role of general manager of Norris Cylinder, effective immediately and reporting directly to Edward Schwartz, Executive Vice President of TriMas Corporation.
In his role as President, Van Auken will be responsible for the leadership of Norris Cylinder, with primary responsibilities including strategic direction, profit and loss reporting, sales and marketing, operations, and human resource initiatives.
During his tenure at Norris Cylinder, he has been an integral part of the company’s growth initiatives. He assisted Norris Cylinder in increasing its unit capacity by 23%, while supporting the expansion of the ISO-cylinder product line.
