UK-based marine robotics company Ocean Infinity is set to help expedite the transition to net-zero after winning ‘The Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition’ for its zero-emission marine propulsion system.
The competition is funded by the Department for Transport, with Innovate UK as delivery partner, and the win will allow Ocean Infinity to build a Marine Propulsion Test facility, intended to demonstrate its Ammonia Marine Propulsion System (AMPS).
Following the win, the company will further develop its clean fuel technology with ‘UK-leading experts’, specialising in the deployment of remote and autonomous technology and marine logistics.
