Global gas process systems specialist Oxair has developed a Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen solution to help prevent hundreds of lives being lost in Africa due to severe oxygen shortages.
With many medical facilities forced to rely on outsourcing oxygen, lack of consistent supply and further shortages down-the-line often have catastrophic impacts on hospitals.
As the situation grows worse with the continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic and remote care facilities in low-income countries continue to struggle, a simple solution has been proposed by Oxair.
The proposed PSA systems allow patients more effective care with a permanent flow of high-quality oxygen.
