Pdc Machines Inc. is the first company in the U.S. to manufacture diaphragm compressors in accordance to European CE, ATEX, and PED regulations.
The compressors built by Pdc Machines in Warminster Pennsylvania, will play an important role in helping Europe achieve their goals of developing widespread alternative renewable energy sources leading to a cleaner environment.
As part of the ‘Clean Urban Transport in Europe’ (CUTE) project, one compressor is already operational in Madrid (Spain) and another is currently destined for Stockholm Sweden, which will be used for refuelling demonstration buses with Hydrogen. A third compressor, to be placed in Athens (Greece), will be powered by wind-generated electricity.
Pdc’s compressors are ideal for compressing all types of gases in an ultra pure state and are environmentally safe due to their leak tight nature. They have supplied compressors ranging from atmospheric to 60,000 psi (4,100 bar) discharge pressures meeting the purity and pressures needed in the chemical, petrochemical, gas and fuel cell industries.
