Leading laboratory gas generator expert Peak Scientific scooped the Best New Exporter to China Award at the British Business Awards held in Shanghai, China, on 3rd November for “making an impact” on the industry and key influencers in the North Pacific rim country.
Peak was awarded the accolade for identifying a target market, growing its export volume and for adapting to specific Chinese market requirements.
The award recognises the efforts of the Peak team in China as well as the strategy and business model that the UK-based business has tailored successfully for the Chinese market. The company manufactures nitrogen (N2), hydrogen (H2) and zero air laboratory gas generators primarily to supply liquid chromatography mass spectrometry and gas chromatography instruments.
Peak has placed increasing prominence on the North Pacific rim region, investing in a new office in China in 2015 and growing the number of Peak colleagues that directly serve the Chinese market.
