PGNiG receives US LNG delivery

Cheniere Energy, a Houston-based LNG company, has made an LNG delivery to Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) as part of a contract singed back in 2018.

Yesterday, an LNG carrier anchored at the President Lech Kaczyński LNG Terminal in Świnoujście, delivering approximately 70 thousand tonnes of LNG, which after regasification equals approximately 95 million cubic meters of natural gas.

The delivery marks Cheniere’s third under the long-term contact, and the second this year. As part of the contract, from 2023 the annual LNG volume delivered will increase to 1.95 billion cubic meters after regasification.
