Pipeline pressure regulators released

Witt Gas Techniques Ltd, the Warrington based gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment supplier, has launched a series of 4 dome pressure regulators for use in pipelines and pipe installations found in various applications, ensuring process reliability through high pressure stability when flow fluctuations occur.

The regulators are designed for precision control of the high flow rate and pressure of technical gases including argon, nitrogen, hydrogen and oxygen in pipes and pipelines with an inlet pressure up to a maximum 200 bar and regulating pressures from 100mbar up to 60 bar, with a maximum flow of 2,300m3/hr depending on the model.

Other significant features include integrated pilot pressure and pressure gauge connections and are used in combination with a pilot pressure regulator or proportional valve, for adjusting the required outlet pressure.

The newly announced products are ideally suited for mounting in supply pipe works for burner and mixing systems and can also be remotely pilot operated using either a pressure regulator or a proportional solenoid valve to control the pressure by PC or through the internet. Using such operation ensures that several gas supplies can be centrally regulated to the same working pressure, while stability of the working pressure guarantees a consistent quality and concentration of gas in the downstream processes.
