PJ Valves wins $650,000 contract for LNG project

PJ Valves (PJV), a specialist valves manufacturer and supplier, has landed a $650,000 contract by a major engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor.

The company, whose main headquarters are in the UK, will build and deliver ball, butterfly, gate, globe and check valves to a liquefied natural gas (LNG) modernisation project in New Jersey, US, after winning a competitive tender.

PJV will supply more than 500 valves in both cryogenic, so they can operate in low temperatures when gas is cooled and condensed into LNG, and non-cryogenic design.

“We’re delighted to be working with a new local end user in the US on this exciting project,” said Spencer Linsell, Group Business Development Director at PJV.
