The Wm. Powell Company (Powell Valves) recently completed the third and final phase of the new state of the art manufacturing facility in China.
Phase one consisted of constructing a new 400,000 square foot manufacturing facility, phase two was machinery and test equipment upgrades, and the third and final phase was construction of a 6,000 square foot cryogenic cleaning facility.
Investing in infrastructure
“Consolidating two separate locations into one state of the art location significantly improves our employee engagement while additionally increasing our manufacturing efficiencies,” commented Brandy Cowart, Executive Vice President. “We will continue to strategically invest in infrastructure that positions Powell for growth both domestically and internationally.”
