Praxair, Inc. has been named to the new Climate A List by CDP, for actions taken to manage its own carbon footprint and that of its customers.
This is the ninth consecutive year that Praxair has been named to a CDP list or index.
CDP, formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project, is an international, not-for-profit organisation providing a global system for companies and government organisations to measure, disclose, manage and share information on environmental performance.
Praxair is one of 193 global companies, accounting for 9% of corporations participating in CDP’s climate change programme, to be awarded a position on the list. Additionally, Praxair is the only industrial gas company included on the Climate A List.
