Praxair has announced that it has been named by Forbes as one of the 500 best companies to work for in the US. Praxair has been recognised by Forbes as a Best Employer since the list’s inception in 2015.
Praxair was ranked seventh in its category – Construction, Oil & Gas Operations, Mining and Chemicals – and 203rd overall. It was also ranked 6th out of 17 companies listed from the state of Connecticut. Nearly 30,000 employees at companies with at least 1,000 people in their US operations were surveyed by Forbes and its research partner. The willingness to recommend one’s own employer was considered to be the most important dimension of the assessment.
David Strauss, Praxair Vice-President and Chief Human Resources Officer, said, “It is an honour to be recognised by Forbes as one of the best employers in America.”
