Tier One corporation Praxair is the latest major company in the industry to announce a price hike on its bulk industrial gases.
It has announced an increase of up to 15% for nitrogen (N2), oxygen (O2), argon (Ar), hydrogen (H2), helium (He) and carbon dioxide (CO2) for bulk industrial and medical gas customers in the US.
The spike is effective as of 15th July 2016, or as contracts permit.
A press release from Praxair signified that the increase was due to, “continued investments in capacity, reliability and efficiency of Praxair’s operations and enhancements to the company’s production and distribution capabilities.”
