Praxair was named to the 2014 CDP S&P 500 Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) for the seventh consecutive year, one of only three companies on the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index (S&P 500) to achieve this distinction.
Praxair received a perfect score of 100 on the CDLI, the only company in the Materials sector to do so. The ranking recognises the company’s long-standing global commitment to growth through resource productivity and environmental innovation.

CDP, formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project, is an international, not-for-profit organisation that provides the world’s only global environmental disclosure system for measuring the quality and completeness of a company’s carbon management reporting. The annual index spotlights companies listed on the S&P 500 that have demonstrated a high level of transparency and data quality in their disclosure of climate-related information. Sixty-three S&P 500 companies are featured in the 2014 CDLI.
