Praxair subsidiaries, Praxair Mexico and Praxair Costa Rica, have been recognised once again for their corporate social responsibility (CSR) leadership.
The awarding body, the Mexican Centre for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliaRSE), presented the company’s’ with the Socially Responsible Business Award. Praxair Mexico received the award for the seventh consecutive year, while Praxair Costa Rica received it for the fourth consecutive year.
The businesses were recognised for their efforts in several different areas, including: quality of life for employees, ethics and corporate governance, community engagement, environmental stewardship, as well as health and wellness initiatives.
Josue Lee, President of Praxair Mexico and Central America, said, “Praxair has been recognised for many years for its focus on corporate social responsibility initiatives globally.”
