Price increases announced

Sherwood, a division of Harsco GasServ, has announced price increases effective as of 1st December 2007 for the company’s compressed gas product lines, with cost increases related to raw materials, energy and transportation cited as the primary causes for the announcement.

Increases of approximately 5-6% on the company’s valve product line will take effect on 1st December 2007. All orders received on or after 1st December 2007 will be subject to the increases, while orders placed prior to this date and scheduled for immediate shipment will be accepted and shipped at the price in effect at time of order.

The company notes that it continues to investigate alternate sourcing and manufacturing efficiencies to minimise the impact of escalating commodity and energy prices in the current economic environment. Sherwood also remains committed to providing the best cylinder valve products to the global gas community at the best possible value.
