Schoolchildren at Knowetop Primary School in North Lanarkshire, UK are helping their local Scottish Premier League (SPL) football club get the most out of their life-saving equipment, supplied by BOC Medical.
Following the tragic death of Motherwell FC player Phil O’Donnell in December, the club bought three LifeLine emergency oxygen kits and two automated external defibrillators (AED’s) from BOC, a member of The Linde Group, to administer immediate life-saving treatment in the case of any future emergencies.
Motherwell FC has two oxygen and defibrillator packages supplied by BOC Medical, one at the club and another at the training ground. BOC is the only oxygen supplier to offer an AED as part of an emergency treatment package.
Wendy MacFarlane, of the Club’s Hospitality Team, commented, “Motherwell Football Club is living up to its reputation for being ‘well-equipped’. With the support of the community, and especially Knowetop Primary School, we are making sure that we really are well-equipped to cope with emergencies.”
