CANADA-based QuestAir has landed an agreement with ExxonMobil to install an experimental hydrogen purifier at one of the oil giants refineries.
According to the British Sunday Telegraph the purifier, developed by QuestAir Technologies, has already passed critical ExxonMobile research review, which recommended building a prototype.
The company told the Telegraph that if it performs as expected, the purifiers could be rolled out across more than 500 refineries and petrochemical plants, possibly resulting in orders worth around $1bn.
QuestAir is an emerging developer and supplier of advanced gas purification systems.
