The microsite describes many different methods to accomplish blanketing or purging of flammable or combustible materials and helps users choose the optimal method to meet their specific needs while minimising their gas usage.
In addition, Air Products can perform calculations ranging from mixture flammability and critical oxygen concentration limits using proprietary software to a full computational fluid dynamics (CFD) study. With over 20 years of experience in computational chemistry, CFD, process modelling, and optimisation, the company can help customers determine safe operational conditions and recommend a solution to meet their needs.
