Scholarship deadline for business students employed at welding stores or distributorships extended

The AWS Foundation has extended the deadline on the James A. Turner, Jr. Memorial Scholarship to Saturday, August 15th. This scholarship is available through the scholarship portal. The link to the portal is https://scholarship.aws.org.

The scholarship is awarded to full-time college students pursuing a minimum four-year Bachelors of Business Degree that will lead to a management career in welding store operations or a welding distributorship. Applicant must have a minimum high school diploma and be employed (at least 10 hours a week) in a welding store operation or at a welding distributorship at the time the application is submitted. Financial need is not required to qualify. The applicant must be a citizen of the United States and plan to attend an academic institution located within the United States. The annual award is $3,500.
