After an eventful night of lavish food, refreshments and local entertainment at the Gala Dinner, the gasworld African Conference resumes with day two and the theme ‘Tools to meet the Challenge’.
Raising the curtain on another insightful day of discourse and debate, the morning began with another welcoming speech from Albert Spencer of the SACGA, who said, “Good morning ladies and gentleman and welcome to the second day of the African conference. Thanks also to Global Gases for a wonderful evening last night.”
After an introduction from session chairman Barry Little of Air Products, an ever-popular speaker took to the stage for the first presentation of the day as Gas Package Solutions’ Dr Roy Irani began.
The presentation focused on the topic of ‘Gas cylinders: Safety first – efficient packages a close second’ and drew on the extensive experience of Dr Irani’s many years in the gases industry and more importantly, in the specialist field of gas cylinders.
